\nLooking the avatar of defiance
\nRight in the eye
\nI sigh sadly
\nAt the visage of a girl
\nGoing done a difficult path

\nI say sitting in a chair
\nI feel so tired

\nShe says flexing
\nAnd unlacing her fists

\nThe feeling of anger or hate
\nHer faces tightens
\nAs she shakes her head vehemently

\nI am not just some stupid girl”
\nShe is angry now
\nBut so am I
\n“Well maybe you are just some stupid girl

\nI yell at her

\nWith the angry fists

\nWhen all they see is a girl with
\nHate coiled in her eyes and
\nA fist for a heart”
\nShe looks at me
\nWith shattered eyes
\nAnd the beginning of tears

\nI say desperately
\nAs I reach for her
\nTo cradle her sadness away

\nLeaving me with open arms
