\nIs written spontaneously
\nStarts with a line and grows
\nSnaking upward to it\u2019s full potential
\nSo here is a poem
\nWithout meaning or purpose
\nIt floats empty knowing it means nothing
\nEach word spilled out
\nCarelessly and without love
\nCallously crumpled up
\nAnd unfolded again
\nA second chance at life
\nRising from the ashes
\nBorn again, whole and new
\nBut still it bears the scars of old
\nWritten on its skin
\nEach scar bearing a story
\nA note of a different life
\nOf a different person
\nSo where will you go
\nWith new meaning and purpose
\nWho will take you in
\nLove you with a blind heart
\nGiving with empty hands
\nA person opening their soul
\nTo someone they don\u2019t know
\nOpening up to a new meaning
\nGive chance a chance
\nTrying to find light
\nIn a world of darkness
\nA means for war
\nIn times of peace
\nA person wondering through snow
\nWith no shoes
\nOr intent to survive
\nWould you give your eyes
\nTo help another open theirs
\nGive yourself to someone new
\nJust to see what would happen
\nOn the roll of a dice
\nTake one last chance
\nStroll in the horizon
\nDon\u2019t look back over your shoulder
\nThere is nothing left behind you
\nBut hands that will drag you down
\nBe free let go of them
\nWalk on glass or through fire
\nJust to feel who you are
\nA kiss to a stranger
\nYou will never know
\nA random impulse to live
\nOr a spontaneous choice to die
\nIt all lies in your hands
\nAll you have to do is reach out
\nGrasp onto destiny
\nAnd don\u2019t let it go
\nHold on tight or they will carry you away
\nThe ties are pulling
\nbut you must be strong
\nYou must not bend or break
\nNow you must make your final choice
\nTo be spontaneous and choose
