Backpacking in Denali National Park, Alaska
September 10, 2007
Last night was a mad dash to get things setup. We arrived at what looked like a good spot to camp, and then it started raining. I managed to get my gear on and tent up just in time, but Matt got a bit wet. Always fun to setup your tent on a bush. It's best not to be picky when it's dark and raining. We did manage to squeeze in some hot food on our last night in the park.

This morning we find clear skies and a spectacular view of Denali. It's so bright it's a challenge to get a good photo.
One last push up the hill to the Eielson stop and we're heading home. It's hard to say goodbye to such an amazing place. I'll just have to plan another trip with the family for next time.
