In my earlier travel update on our trip to Yellowstone this summer and the black bear we saw walking right next to the road. I wasn’t very smart about it and was running down the road after him to get good pictures along with a missive crowd of people. This are the best photos of him that I thought were worth re-posting on their own. So here he is.
Here is the last photo of otters while I was in Yellowstone. I saved this picture for a friend but here it is now, the trio. Three little rambunctious river otters that teased us all day and finally gave us some good pictures, they even posed.
I will miss them, I miss the quiet of Yellowstone the serenity, the wildlife, and the feeling of being a part of nature, not an adversary of it. Life seems so much simpler in the wild, yet so much more complicated. I hope I can come back again soon.
P.S. There is one more Yellowstone photo, I am saving the best for last. I am saving it for a friend, so it will show up sooner or later. Just wait for it, the best will come as long as you wait.
While I was in Yellowstone, I met a new friend along the roadside. There was a coyote trotting in the middle of the road when we drove by. He would not get out of the road to let us pass. So we spent a good ten minutes with him. Every time he would move to the side of the road we would make to pass him, but he would dart out in front of us as if he was trying to keep us there. It was very strange.
He was a beautiful creature but had clearly been in a fight, his ear was mangled and bloody and had scars on his muzzle. I of course was hanging out of the window trying to get a photo of him as I always do. My training on the road trips to Michigan really paid off with my camera ninja skills.
We finally departed from our new roadside friend to go seek out more adventures in the majestic Yellowstone.
So my little brother had the great idea to have a section for Creeper Photo of the Day because I take so many. So starting today there will be a New photo every day of some random person that I have never met but took a picture of without their knowledge of me doing so. A warning, none of these are meant to be stalker photos or anything. These photos are solely of people I found fascinating in some way or another and wanted to remember them for it.
