Shadows retreat
As dawn creeps closer.
The sun claws its way from darkness
Like a dead man from his grave
Chasing away the shadows
Leaving this lighted day.
No more living in darkness
The last thing the dead men say.

Leave the light on for the person standing next to you. Don’t leave them in the dark even if you don’t need the light anymore. Think of the light in your life. Tell me what it is. I gave away the light. To help some one else. And the gift was squandered and ignored. Don’t waste the light. Give it shape. Give it life. Give it meaning to take away the night.

Even the dimmest light, in the darkest of places can illuminate your way. Who lights your way? Is it a best friend, a parent, your imagination, or God? It doesn’t matter who or what your light is, follow it, because it will always lead you to brighter times.

I love these photos of my little brother up in Northern Michigan while the sun is setting. They are just so intriguing. Love the lighting . They seem almost like they could be posters. Power to the People.

One of the nicest things about living in Santa Cruz is the red woods. My mom and I often go running in the woods and sometimes it really does appear divine. My mom goes in much more often than I do and she took this picture. God truly is in the little things like this. I am just glad that I have gotten see things like this.

I rather enjoy this photo that I took in Hawaii of my dad and brother inside of a lava tube. They are standing right below a hole to the surface which makes them look like aliens are about to beam them up or God sent down a light upon them.
